The East European Accuracy Cup Zamosc 2023 Zamosc / Mokre, 4-6.08.2023

For the first time, the Polish edition of the East European Accuracy Cup was held in Zamosc. On August 4-6, 2023, the competition in the parachute landing accuracy was held at the Mokre airport. The sports competition was conducted in accordance with the FAI regulations and the EEAC (the East European Accuracy Cup) regulations, published on the website www.eeacup.eu. The East European Accuracy Cup has been held since 2016 and currently the cup competitions are held in six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Poland and Romania. For the first time they were held in the Lublin region, specifically in Zamosc.

The competition is organised by the Military Sport Club WAWEL, the member of Polish Aero Club – Polish Association of Air Sports and the Aeroclub of Zamosc. The organizers of the competition will be assisted by the 2nd Reconnaissance Regiment. The event will be held under the auspices of the Mayor of Zamosc County, Stanisław Grzesko. The partners of the event were the following entities and persons: County of Zamosc, Galan Roofs, Krakow Municipal Holding, Mag-Bud, Municipal Heat Supply Company in Krakow, National Food Industry Group, ORLEN Paliwa, PANAS TRANSPORT, Waterworks Krakow, Mrs Malgorzata Pogudz-Kusiak.

The jumps were made from a Cessna 206 aircraft. Eight rounds of jumps were played, which is the maximum number for the EEAC competition. The competition was won by the HUNGARY SZOLNOK team from Hungary. Our team KRAKOW WAWEL took second place. And the third place was won by the team 2HPR, in which the members of our section started. The individual classification was won by Istvan Asztalos from HUNGARY SZOLNOK. The second place was taken by Rafal Zgierski from 2HPR. And the third place went to Piotr Blazewicz from OSWRIS.
