From July 31 to August 2, 2026, in Hrubieszow will take place the East European Accuracy League Hrubieszow 2026 – skydiving competition, the Polish edition of the East European Accuracy League. The competition will be held in accordance with FAI regulations and EEAL regulations, which are available at www.eeal.eu. The East Europe Accuracy League is a direct continuation of the East Europe Accuracy Cup, which has been held since 2016. Naturally, in the discipline of parachute accuracy landing. The goal of this competition is to achieve the smallest possible score when landing with a parachute. The target is a circle with a diameter of 2 cm; landing exactly in the center of the circle results in a score of 0 cm, which is the best possible score. If the target is not hit, the distance to the target is measured in increments of one centimeter up to sixteen centimeters. For each hit that lands more than 16 cm away from the target, the competitor receives a score of 16 cm. By “landing,” we mean the first point of contact between the skydiver and the ground. The jumps take place from an altitude of 800 to 1,200 meters above the ground. Currently, league competitions are held in five countries: Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and Poland. In Poland, League competitions were initially held in Krakow, then in Zamosc, and since last year in Hrubieszow. On Friday (July 31), the jumps will take place at the landing field in Metelin, and on Saturday and Sunday (August 1–2), at the training field of the Hrubieszow Sports and Recreation Center.

The competition is organized by the WAWEL Military Sports Club, a member of the Polish Aeroclub – Polish Air Sports Association, and co-organized by the City of Hrubieszow, the 2nd Hrubieszow Reconnaissance Regiment named after Maj. Henryk Dobrzanski “Hubal”, the Aeroclub of Zamosc and Mr. Bogdan Jasina. The event will be held under the honorary patronage of Ms. Marta Majewska, Mayor of Hrubieszow, and under the honorary patronage of Mr. Jozef Kuropatwa, Hrubieszow County Administrator.
