The East European Accuracy League Hrubieszow 2025 Mokre/HOSiR, 25-27.07.2025

We have it! From the idea in 2023 to implementation in 2025! The East European Accuracy League came to Hrubieszow. And it was hardly that this did not happen. The competitors and servants were already on the landing pad in Metelin, when it turned out that there would be no consent of the Aeroclub of Zamosc to fly an An-2 aircraft from this landing pad. But problems are to solve them. We quickly moved with jumps to the Mokre airport in Zamosc and the first day of the competition (25.07) we jumped here. Despite the considerable improvisation, we were able to play five jumps and reorganize two consecutive days (26-27.07), so as to start from the Mokre airport, and jumping in Hrubieszow. There are three rounds of jumps for the remaining one and a half days, so despite the rainy and cloudy weather we were able to do it. Even with hourly access. A lot of merit lies on the side of our partners who helped us to master. It is a pity that the landing area was wet and people who came to support us also had to hide from rain every now and then. But despite all this, it was a great organizational success and the competition met with a positive reception from the Hrubieszow community.

Time for some statistics and numbers. Twenty -nine players of all two sexes took part in the competition. Recordable – for the Polish edition of EEAL – there was the number of countries represented, as many as seven: Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Hungary, Moldova, Serbia, Sweden and Poland. Seven full teams took in the competition, and in addition one competitor competed individually. Everyone made eight jumps and there were no replay jumps. Due to the fact that there was only one junior and three women everyone was classified in one individual classification and teams in the team classification. And we come to sports successes. With an excellent result of 7 cm, the individual classification was won by Rafal Zgierski, who jumped in the team 2.HPR, i.e. the representation of the 2nd Hrubieszow Reconnaissance Regiment. Gabor Hirschler from the Hungarian team HUNGARY SZOLNOK was second, and Ewa Wesolowska from our team KRAKOW WAWEL was third. They both had 12 cm, but Gabor had more results 0 cm. And another success… The team classification was won by the KRAKOW WAWEL team with a result of 72 cm, composed of: Ewa Wesolowska, Artur Gosiewski, Wiktor Krol and Jan Mach. The Hungarian team HUNGARY SZOLNOK won the silver medal in the team classification. And the third place went to the PRIJEDOR team from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
